Jio AirFiber To Launch Next Month: Here’s Everything You Need To Know

New Delhi: Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Monday announced that the company will launch Jio AirFiber on September 19.

Reliance aims to tap the untapped segment with an addressable market of over 200 million Indian homes.

What is Jio AirFiber?

The high-speed internet service aims to deliver fibre-like speed over the air without using any wires. According to the data available on Jio website, JioAirFiber can be used only be plugging it in, then turning it on. With this, users can have their own personal Wi-Fi hotspot in their home, connected to ultra-high-speed internet using True 5G. With JioAirFiber, it will be really easy to quickly connect your home or office to Gigabit-speed Internet.

A report by ET telecom suggests that the device could cost around Rs 6,000.
