Instagram stories defeat Snapchat with 200 million users

Facebook-owned mobile photo sharing app Instagram, now claims that more than 200 million users see stories per day beating Snapchat which claimed 161 million users.
The story feature was launched by Instagram in August last year, which crossed 150 million users in January and is now claiming more than 200 million users per day.

Snapchat’s parent company SNAP announced that more than 161 million users are active every day ahead of its IPO last month.
Facebook also came up with this feature similar to Instagram in late march this year.

According to the reports, Instagram is also now planning to come up with new features to celebrate the feat. Next week Instagram is planning to launch a feature in which a photo can be converted into a sticker and it can be shared among the users. It will soon also add geo filters to London, Madrid etc. with the help of the local artists.
