Inspector killed in clashes over animal slaughter in Bulandshahr

During clashes with protesters in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, one police inspector, Subodh Kumar Singh was murdered.

The police officials at the spot were trying to pacify the groups of people that were protesting against illegal animal slaughter due to which the clashes took place.

According to reports, the protesters had blocked one of the roads and the police arrived at the spot to control the situation.

In response to the police officials attempt, the protesters began pelting the officers with stones followed by firing bullets. The police was forced to open fire to stop the protest and the protesters from hurting them.

According to ANI tweets, “District Magistrate Bulandshahr Anuj Jha reported: One police inspector dead during a clash with people protesting against illegal slaughterhouses in Bulandshahr.”

Some pictures were also posted on the Twitter handle along with a tweet regarding the murder of the police officer.
