Hit And Run: After Ramming Vehicle Into Cycle, Driver Carries Victim’s Body On Roof For 10 Km

Mohali police has arrested a car driver who rammed into a bicycle and kept on driving the vehicle with the victim’s body on the rooftop for about 10 km. Later the body was found near Sunny enclave.

The entire incident was recorded on a CCTV installed in a public area. In the video, the accused can be seen driving the car with a man on the roof. The bumper of the vehicle seems damaged.

The man turns the car and leaves the cyclist on the road before speeding away from the spot.

A case has been registered against the car driver under sections 279, 427, 304A, and 201 of the IPC and the car has also been taken into custody.
