HCL Chairman Nadar offers Rs one crore to shrine

Tirupati, Aug 21 (PTI) Tech major HCL Chairman Shiv Nadartoday made an offering of Rs one crore and one (Rs1,00,00,001) to the Lord Venkateswara shrine near here. The hill temple PRO Talari Ravi said after offeringprayers, the HCL chairman handed over the offering in the formof a cheque to TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao insidethe shrine. He requested the temple management to use his donation forSri Venkateswara Balamandir Trust, established in 1943, fororphaned and destitute children, run by the TTD which managesthe shrine, the PRO said.
