Internet is a very creative space. Platform for all types of views and debates. Specially from last few weeks this space is abuzzed with conversations around Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy’s 70-hour work in a week. And then we had social media’s new sensation and Bollywood’s best friend Orry, whose way of living life is exactly opposite of what Murthy wants us to be.
Now, given such contrast views, industrialist Harsh Goenka took to X to suggest a chat between Murthy and Orry. Can you image two people so different in their approach towards life, what that conversation is going to be like.
Well, work-life balance has been a debate since time immerioal, and it might continue to be the same for years to come. But to give it a little humurous twist Goenka requested to arrange a meet up of Murthy and Orry, giving this whole work-life balance debate a comic turn.
He posted on X, ‘Can someone please organize a conversation between Narayana Murthy and Orry on the need of a 70 hour working week! 😀’.
Well for the inversed, Narayana Murthy few weeks back during an intercation advoacted the need for a 70-hour work week by the youths of India. Which world basically means, 6 working days and 12 working hours for each day. Murthy said, it is the need of the hour for nation’s economic growth.
However, that didn’t go down well, with several social media users, giving birth to a whole new form of debate sorrunding work-life bakance.
Meanwhile on the other hand, around the same time a clip of Orry from an interview went viral. In the viral video Orry can be heard saying that he lives and that makes him a liver. He went on to say, ‘You go for a job, you are a jobber. You paint, you are a painter. I am living, I am a liver. Yeah, I am a liver’.
