Gauhar Khan slapped on-screen!

Mumbai: The Bigg Boss-crowned lady Gauhar Khan was allegedly slapped by a 24-year-old while she was shooting for the grand finale of a popular TV reality show, ‘India’s Raw Star’.

Akil Malik, the accused, tried to touch Khan who was taken aback and resisted. Malik then slapped Gauhar but was immediately taken away by the security guards deployed there, following which the police were notified.

A preliminary probe has revealed that someone from the audience started teasing Khan to which she protested. An argument ensued between the two, following which she was attacked.

The man reportedly said, “being a Muslim woman, she should not have worn such a short dress”. Things turned ugly when the man suddenly slapped the actor,” said a police official.

The Aarey Sub police have detained Malik. He will be produced before the court on Monday.
