Fawn rescued from well in Odisha

Kendrapara (Odisha), Aug 24 (PTI) Forest personnel haverescued a fawn that had accidentally fallen into a well inKrushnanagar village beside Bhitarkanika National Park inOdisha’s Kendrapara district. The baby deer was in a distressed condition, a forestofficial said. Nylon nets were thrown into the well. The animal wasdragged out of the well yesterday after it got entangled inthe net, the official said. The animal was given succour and later released insidethe mangrove forest cover area of the national park, theofficial said. PTI COR SKN CRDV
