Explainer: Here’s What Exactly Happened In Nuh, Gurugram Which Led To Violence

The Haryana government on Sunday extended the suspension of mobile internet services till August 8 in Haryana’s Nuh, where communal clashes broke out on July 31.

The communal clashes between two communities started in the Nuh district in the Mewat region of Haryana have claimed at least six lives, including two home guards and injured more than 200 people. The violence is said to have erupted after a mob pelted stones at the religious procession organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal.
