Karachi: Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima took to twitter and congratulated the PTI leader on his ‘new phase of life’.
Reports of former Pakistan Test captain Imran Khan’s marriage were not ‘greatly exaggerated’ after all. Imran, 62, admitted to marrying Reham Khan, a former BBC presenter, after days of actively denying it.
Jemima, who was married to Imran for nine years, thanked the Pakistanis who sent her touching messages after speculations regarding the PTI leader’s marriage caught up, and said that she would “always feel like honorary Pakistani, no matter what.”
Imran and Jemima’s marriage was described as ‘tough’ as she was allegedly unable to adapt to Pakistani culture. The two divorced in 2004.
