Customers may start lovin’ to pay at McD

Date:

International fast food conglomerate McDonald’s is going to start accepting a new form of payment starting next week.

Starting from Feb 2, the chain will let some customers pay for their food with different forms of what the chain calls “random acts of lovin’,” which could include selfies, hugs and some dance moves.

McDonald’s hinted at the campaign earlier in the month, when it posted a teaser ad introducing a mysterious new way to pay.

So if you’re ready to show off your new dance moves or looking to score a free burger, swing by for some McNuggets within the next few weeks. The participants will be chosen “at randomized, predetermined times” between 6 am and 6 pm local time each day, according to the McDonald’s website.

“From selfies, hugs to high fives – we have a bunch of fun ways to express your Lovin’,” a McDonald’s spokeswoman said.

Customers who order items during pre-selected times will get to participate in the deal. McDonald’s employees will let customers know if they get to “Pay with Lovin’.”

The company said the promotion will run till Feb 14.
