Custody Row: Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Reach Temporary Agreement

Weeks after, Sophie Turner had sued Joe Jonas, seeking him to return their two daughters to England, the two have now reportedly reached a temporary agreement.

It’s a temporary custody arrangements of their two daughters.

According to a report by USA Today, Joe and Sophie will each have the custody of their two daughter on an alternate basis, for a period ranging from 1 and half week to three weeks through January 7.

The report further outlined, that Sophie will have the custody of the two girls from October 9 till October 21 and after Joe will have the custody of the kids starting October 21 till November 2. As per the agreement, the kids will spend Thanksgiving with Joe where as they will be spending Christmas and New Year’s with their mother, Sophie. Both the parents are also allowed to temporaraily travel with the kids either to the UK or any of the US states during this alloted time.

At the same time, both the oarents have until December 23 to come to a decision and share an update on how they are planning to take this forward post this temporary arrangement gets over.

All this began after, the estranged couple had announced their divorce in September this year on social media after being married to each other for four years. At that time, the two described their separation as ‘amicable’.

However, later that month Sophie’s lawyer had filed a legal petition. As per a report by BBC, the petition cited ‘wrongul detention’ of their children in New York. But, Joe Jonas was seeking a joint custody of their daughter. Their first daughter Willa was born in 2020, whereas the second daughter was born in 2022, whose name has not been revealed yet.

The claims were that Joe Jonas had refused to return the passports of their daughter and also to send them to England.
