COVID Positive Case In Delhi Capitals Camp Ahead Of A Crucial Game Against CSK

Mumbai: Ahead of a crucial game against Chennai Super Kings in the second half of Sunday, the DC camp is struck with another COVID positive case.

According to the reports, a net bowler from the Delhi Capitals camp tested positive for COVID. As per several reports, the DC camp has isolated themselves in the hotel.

As per IPL norms and guidelines, the Delhi Capitals team and support staff will have to go through mandatory rounds of testing.

The team has a crucial game in the evening against Chennai Super Kings at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier this month, Coach Ricky Ponting had to isolate himself because his family member tested positive for COVID.

Players and support staff members of the DC camp have tested positive in this season of IPL due to which matches and venue had to be changed by the IPL at the last moment.
