Constable, friend arrested for kidnapping boy

Bahraich (UP), Sep 9 (PTI) A constable and his girlfriendwere arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 10-year-old boy forransom, police said. Manish Kashyap, a constable posted in police linesBalrampur and his girlfriend Sharda were arrested yesterdayfor kidnapping the child on September 6 and demanding a ransomof Rs 35 lakh, Superintendent of Police Salikram Verma said. The police tracked a vehicle, arrested the duo andrescued the child safely, he said.PTI CORR ABNDV
