CID arrests woman imposter

Kolkata, Sept 9 (PTI) The CID today arrested a womanfor extorting money from several people posing as CBI officer. According to a senior CID officer, Ichcha Sinha aliasRituparna Das was arrested from Sonarpur in South 24-Parganasdistrict today for posing as a CBI officer to extort moneyfrom several persons. The police seized from the accused’s possessionphotographs in police uniform and identity cards of Central IBofficer, he said. "She used to extort money from the public by posing asCBI officer. We have been looking for her for quite sometime," he said adding that the CID was looking for her in acheating case in the Noapara police station area. PTI SCHMD
