New Delhi: Senior IAS officer, Alok Tandon, is likely to be appointed Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
Tandon is 1986 batch IAS officer of UP cadre.

Tandon is an Electrical Engineer by academic training. During his more than 25 years of service in IAS till date, he has held various assignments as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Joint Secretary and District Magistrate.
