15-year-old beaten to death by three classmates: Police

New Delhi, Aug 28 (PTI) A 15-year-old boy was allegedlykilled by three of his classmates over a dispute on who wouldcollect water first from a public tap in northeast Delhi’sSriram Colony. The incident occurred on August 25 when, according to therelatives of the deceased, Mohammad Azeem, he was brutallybeaten up by three of his classmates, all juveniles, when hehad gone to get water from the tap that morning, police said. Azeem had injuries in his private parts, police said. Those present at the spot at the time of the incident hadinitially thought it was a minor scuffle but when Azeemcollapsed, they realised it was serious. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared broughtdead. The three juveniles, aged around 13-14 years, have beenapprehended and a case registered. PTI SLB RC SCRC
