Bollywood actor Sonu Sood met NCP chief Sharad Pawar at the latter’s residence on Wednesday. The meet comes at a time when the BMC has filed a police complaint of alleged illegal construction against Sood.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) filed a complaint at Mumbai’s Juhu police station last week, seeking the registering of a case against Sonu Sood for allegedly turning a residential building into a hotel without availing permission for the same.
The police received the complaint letter after the BMC inspected the residential building and found that Sood had allegedly not complied with the rules and regulations, and was carrying out unauthorised construction even after being served a notice in October last year. However, the police are yet to register an FIR in the case.
