Tejashwi slams Nitish, asks 11 questions to PM Modi

As Bihar gets ready to vote in the first phase on Wednesday, miffed RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav lambasted Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over his ‘8 to 9 children’ remark.

Tejashwi took a jibe and tweeted that “even Kumar’s insults were blessings for him”.

He said, “By commenting on my family, Nitish Kumar is targeting PM Modi as he also has six siblings. Nitish Kumar has insulted women and my mother’s sentiments. They don’t speak on the main issues, like inflation, corruption, unemployment, etc.”

Earlier Kumar had stoked controversy with his ‘9-sibling’ statement.

“Does anyone care? They have eight-nine children. They have no faith in daughters. After so many daughters, they had a son. You all can see – what kind of Bihar they want to make.”

Meanwhile, Tejashwi also fielded 11 questions to Prime Minister Modi.

“Tomorrow Prime Minister Modi is coming to Bihar. I want to ask these questions from the double engine government of Delhi and Patna.”

“Darbhanga AIIMS was announced in 2015 but why announcement for the start of its work was done before the polls? The BJP-JDU government has promised a super specialty hospital in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur but the promise was not fulfilled nor the appointment of doctors done. The government has promised to build Skill University what happened to that promise,” Tejashwi asked.

Bihar assembly polls will be held in three phases starting from Wednesday and the results will be announced on November 10.

The JD(U) and BJP are allies in the state, Nitish-led JD(U) is contesting on 122 seats and the BJP has got the remaining 121. Mahagathbandhan comprises RJD, Congress, and left parties.
