The alarm bell rings at 6 AM, you wake up and get dressed for school, and then your mother serves you chai paratha. Sounds familiar? This has been the daily morning ritual for several middle-class families in India.
A Twitter user recently gave a new face to this ritual by coming up with an innovative combo – Spiced milk tea ice cream with sugar-laced paratha.
“Chai paratha reimagined, spiced doodh patti ice cream with sugar laced parhatta,” he wrote in the caption while sharing the pictures of his food experiment.

Considering the number of chai lovers in India, it was obvious that many would not quite like the idea of their favorite beverage being presented differently.
No. No. No. No. This is wrong. Totally totally wrong. You can’t. Paratha and ice cream don’t mix. No. Never. Kabhi nahin.

The invention definitely left people divided on whether it’s a good combination or not. What’s your take?
