The latest in the Sushant Singh Rajput(SSR) case is that the late actor’s aides Ankit Acharya and Ganesh Hiwarkar landed in Delhi on Friday to seek justice for their friend, holding up posters of SSR. Ankit was detained by Delhi Police and initially there was no news as to where he has being taken to.
The Delhi Police were in civil attire when Ankit was picked up. Ankit was reportedly taken to Jantar Mantar later by the Delhi Police and released after taking down details from him on the hunger strike, that SSR’s aides will be sitting on from October 2nd for three days. Due to social distancing norms in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of people cannot assemble at one place.
Meanwhile Ganesh was walking on the streets of Delhi with a poster seeking justice for SSR. “We have this poster of Sushant Singh Rajput which says ‘Justice For Sushant Singh Rajput’. What wrong have we done?” Said Ganesh Hiwarkar.
Ganesh added, “This means that the Delhi Police also want to suppress something that is why they are stopping us.” He also added the Mumbai Police and Shiv Sena had an issue with the SSR case and questioned why the Delhi Police was stopping them.
The Anti-Terror Squad(ATS) van was spotted following Ganesh’s movements on the opposite side of the footpath.
“Have I brought a bomb here? I have brought a poster of SSR.” Questioned Ganesh. He also added had the media not been there, the Police would have detained him too. Ganesh went on to say that the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) should look into the case.
SSR aides are hoping that the investigation reaches a logical conclusion soon enough, to get a closure on the late actor’s death. The actor was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room in Mumbai on June 14th which prima facie appeared to be a suicide. However, after the late actor’s family filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty suspecting foul play, the case has been handed over to the CBI. Rhea meanwhile in jail after her arrest a few weeks ago.
