India’s COVID-19 tally crossed 20 lakh on Friday after the highest single-day spike of 62,538 cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
The COVID-19 tally has now risen to 20,27,075, including 6,07,384 active cases, 13,78,106 cured/discharged/migrated and 41,585 deaths, according to the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases recorded worldwide has passed 19 million, according to Johns Hopkins University COVID tracker. There are now 19,021,922 cases worldwide and 713,813 have died so far. However, 11.4 million have recovered from the virus.
