Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot arrived in Delhi on Sunday morning with some of his loyalist MLAs amid reports that he is deeply upset over a summon for questioning by the Special Operations Group, which comes under CM Ashok Gehlot, over allegations of destabilizing the Congress-led government in the state.

Pilot is expected to speak to the party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi. The Congress high command is upset with Ashok Gehlot for issuing orders to question Sachin Pilot, sources said. This comes amid a slugfest over the BJP’s alleged attempts to topple the Congress-led Rajasthan government.

Meanwhile, Gehlot has pointed out that he has also received summons for questioning as well as the Chief Whip and it is their duty to cooperate.

The party now appears to be in deep crisis in Rajasthan just three months after it lost Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh to the BJP.
