Fact Check: Truth about CBSE Circular for Board results 2020

 

A circular is doing rounds on the internet which claims that CBSE will be announcing the Board exam results for Classes X and XII on July 11 and 13 respectively. 

This came after Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that CBSE is likely to announce the results towards the end of July.

FACT CHECK

Through the appearance of the circular, Newsmobile found it to be suspicious and scanned the document for verification. In our investigation, we found the Circular and it’s claim to be fake. We looked up CBSE’s official communication channels.

CBSE came out with the tweet, explicitly clarifying that the circular is FAKE and the board has not announced any date for declaration of results.

 CBSE issued a statement saying “It has come to the notice of the board that there is a fake message being circulated with regards to the declaration of  class X and XII Board Results 2020.”

Hence, Newsmobile can put on record that the said Circular is fake.
