Fact Check: This video of Osmania Hospital mortuary is not related to COVID-19; Here’s the truth

A video showing dead bodies piled up in front of a hospital in Hyderabad is being shared on social media with a claim that these are the dead bodies of COVID-19 patients at Osmania Hospital.

FACT CHECK 

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video and found the claim to be false as the video is old.

We noticed that the video has a logo of IndToday and ran a search using relevant keywords. The search led us to the original video, which was upload by IndToday on their YouTube channel on December 25, 2013.

Upon further investigation, we found that IndToday issued a clarification regarding the video on their Facebook Page.

Thus, based on our investigation, we can conclude that the video is old and is being shared with a false narrative.
