It will be a new normal that India will deal with China in a more aggressive manner, NewsMobile Editor-in-Chief Saurabh Shukla said on Tuesday.
Speaking on a debate show on Republic TV, he said: “Despite our best efforts to mend our ties with China both diplomatically and strategically, China has betrayed us, and this betrayal has caused a 360-degree evaluation of our policies which are good in India’s strategic interest.”

Meanwhile, India and China military officials have agreed to disengage troops in the disputed border area, the India Army said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Corps Commander level talks between India-China yesterday were held at Moldo in cordial, positive and constructive atmosphere. There was mutual consensus to disengage. Modalities for disengagement from all friction areas in Eastern Ladakh were discussed and will be taken forward by both sides,” the statement read.
