India reported the highest ever spike of 15,413 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, breaching the 4 lakh-mark.
According to the Health Ministry Sunday morning update, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country now stands at 4,10,461, including 1,69,451 active cases, 2,27,756 cured/discharged/migrated. With 306 deaths, the death toll now stands at 13,254.

1. Delhi reported the highest single-day spike of 3,630 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of cases to 56,746. The death toll has risen to 2,112 with 77 deaths on Saturday.
2. Meanwhile, Delhi LG announced a rollback of compulsory 5-day institutional quarantine, saying, “Only those COVID positive cases which do not require hospitalisation on clinical assessment & do not have adequate facilities for home isolation would be required to undergo institutional isolation”

3. 160 deaths and highest single-day rise of 3,874 new COVID-19 cases reported in Maharashtra on Saturday. The total number of positive cases in the state is now 1,28,205. The death toll is at 5,984: State Health Department
4. Tamil Nadu reported 2,396 fresh COVID-19 cases and 38 deaths on Saturday, taking the total number of cases to 56,845. There are 24,822 active cases now in the state. The death toll reached 704: State Health Department

5. 416 new cases and nine deaths have been reported in Karnataka on Saturday. Total number of cases stands at 8,697 and the death toll is 132: State Health Department
