Patanjali claims to have discovered cure for coronavirus, evidence to be shared in 3-4 days

Date:

Baba Ramdev’s consumer goods and herbal medicine company Patanjali Ayurved has claimed to have discovered a cure for coronavirus.

The claim is made even as global health body WHO has said that there is no cure yet for COVID-19. Moreover, several pharma companies are still struggling to find the vaccine or a drug that can provide 100% immunity against the deadly virus.

“We appointed a team of scientists after COVID-19 outbreak. Firstly, simulation was done and compounds were identified which can fight the virus. Then, we conducted clinical case study on many positive patients and we have got 100% favourable results,” Patanjali co-founder and CEO Acharya Balkrishna told news agency ANI,

The cure has cleared all testing in labs and has been fully developed, he claimed. He said the company is now conducting controlled clinical trials and will release evidence in less than a week.

He also said that the company, in the next 4-5 days, will release the evidence and data about the cure.

“After taking our medicine, COVID patients recovered in 5-14 days and then tested negative. So, we can say the cure for COVID is possible through Ayurveda. We are performing controlled clinical trials only. In the next 4-5 days, evidence and data will be released by us,” he said
