Amid the ongoing migrant crisis in the country due to the Coronavirus-induced lockdown, a heartwarming picture of persons from the Sikh community tending to underprivileged people is doing the rounds on social media.
The text accompanying the picture, claims that the Sikhs were providing medical aid to the wounded legs of migrant labourers, who were on their way home.
“Sikhs who apply some medicine to the wounded legs of migrant labourers who are walking and walking through the relentless highways towards their original homes…There can never be an ideal religion beyond humanism; beyond love and care for fellow human beings. My respects for these great people..” the caption read.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found the same picture was shared by Twitter user Harjinder Singh Kukreja in 2017.
According to the tweet, the picture was taken outside Gurdwara Sahib Sis Ganj, Delhi.
