Centre reshuffles 19 administrative officers in different ministries

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday approved the appointment of 19 administrative officers to different ministries.

Special Secretary at the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Sanjeeva Kumar, has been appointed as Secretary at the Department of Border Management under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Vasudha Mishra, Special Secretary at the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, has been appointed as Secretary at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Rakesh Sarwal of Ministry of Human Resource Development has been accorded the post of Additional Secretary of NITI Aayog.

S. Kishore, Anurag Jain and Devendra Kumar Singh, presently in the cadre, have been posted as Additional Secretary of Department of Commerce, Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, respectively.

Katikithala Srinivas has been made Additional Secretary and Establishment Officer, Department of Personnel and Training, and Shiv Das Meena has been named as Chairman of Central Pollution Control Board.

Manoj Ahuja, Special Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Department of Personnel and Training, has been accorded the post of Chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Arti Ahuja, Special Director of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, has been named Additional Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Alok Kumar, presently in the Cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat (SR).

Nivedita Shukla Verma, presently in the cadre, has been made Additional Secretary, Department of Defence. V. Vidyavathi, presently in the cadre, has been named as Director General of Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India.

Rajendra Kumar has been appointed as Director General of Employees” State Insurance Corporation and Rakesh Ranjan as Additional Secretary of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Anil Kumar Nayak, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Mines, has been made Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Department of Posts.

Aniruddha Kumar, who was the Joint Secretary of Ministry of Power, has been made the Additional Secretary at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Subir Mallick, Additional Financial Advisor and Joint Secretary of Ministry of Defence (Finance), has been made Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Agricultural Research and Education. Anuradha Thakur has been posted as Joint Secretary at the Cabinet Secretariat.

Besides this, the ACC has also approved in-situ upgradation of the officers to the level of Additional Secretary, as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them.

With regard to the same, Rashmi Chowdhary, who was posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, has now been appointed as Additional Secretary of the department.

Anand Mohan Bajaj, who was the Joint Secretary of Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, has been accorded the post of Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs.
