With 3,320 new cases and 95 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has climbed to 59,662, including 39,834 active cases and 17,847 people who have recovered.

2. Indian Navy Ship Jalashwa has set sail from Male to Kochi in Kerala with 698 passengers as part one of the country’s biggest evacuation exercises to bring home Indians stranded abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. Special train services to take migrant workers in Karnataka to their hometowns resumed on Friday.
4. The Railways has so far run 222 special trains to ferry over 2.5 lakh people, including migrant workers, to different parts of the country, said Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary, MHA on Friday.
5. The ICMR has received approval to conduct clinical trials of convalescent plasma therapy in 21 hospitals, the Health Ministry said.
