1. Total number of cases cross 1.9 million.

2.US President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced halting America’s funding of the World Health Organization while a review is being conducted to assess its role in managing the deadly coronavirus.

3. It is not the time to reduce the resources of the World Health Organisation (WHO) resources, the UN chief was quoted as saying by news agency AFP after US president Donald Trump halted funding to the body.

8. South Korea reported 27 new cases of the coronavirus, its 14th day in a row in which the daily count came below 100, as infections continue in Daegu and nearby areas.

9. Stranded foreign students who are having a hard time economically can apply for off campus work authorisation, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) said.

10. Individual governors can decide on reopening the economy in their respective States, US President Donald Trump said.
