The Mumbai Police has filed two more First Information Reports (FIRs) against two individuals in the incident involving a large gathering of migrant labourers at Bandra railway station on Tuesday in defiance of the lockdown. One person is has been arrested for spreading misinformation.
The police had earlier filed one other FIR against 700 unidentified persons for gathering at the station on Tuesday.

Vinay Dubey, a resident of Navi Mumbai had uploaded a video on social media asking all migrant labourers from North India to gather at the Kurla Terminus sating that the government will arrange trains to drop them back to their hometowns. He has been arrested and detained under relevant laws.
The second FIR is against Rahul Kulkarni, a journalist working with a Marathi news channel which had telecast the news that the government is arranging trains to drop migrant workers to their hometowns. He has been arrested. He’ll be produced before Court on Thursday.
The Mumbai Police had to resort to mild lathicharge on Monday evening to disperse the crowd of labourers who had gathered and were demanding the resumption of rail services to take them back to their native places.
The Mumbai Police has been criticised for taking little action to contain the mobs.
