A notice attributed to the Ministry of Tourism is being circulated online. The notice states that all restaurants and hotels in India would be closed till October 15, 2020, due to Coronavirus.

Since the notice was attributed to the Tourism Ministry, we checked their official website and social media accounts for confirmation.
Debunking the above notice, the ministry asked people to refrain from forwarding such fake messages as it wasn’t issued by the government.

They also urged people to follow government sites for authentic information.
The Press Information Bureau also put out a post, rubbishing the notice in question as FAKE.
