At least eight people were killed and five others were critically injured in two shooting attacks in a town in western Germany, as per local reports.
As per BBC, the police said they could not provide details on the motivation for the attack in Hanau, about 15 miles east of Frankfurt, but the German media reports said that the shootings targeted two hookah cafes.

The first shooting was at a bar in the city centre, while the second was in Hanau’s Kesselstadt neighbourhood, according to local reports.
The suspects are reportedly on the run.
The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.
