Two Indians on board the Japanese cruise ship Diamond Princess have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, reported news agency PTI.
The cruise ship with 3,711 people on board arrived at the Japanese coast early last week and was quarantined after a passenger who deboarded last month in Hong Kong was found to be the carrier of the virus on the vessel.
Meanwhile, the death toll due to coronavirus outbreak in China’s Hubei province rose to 1,113 on Tuesday even though new cases of the infection were the lowest reported since January, according to the National Health Commission.

Besides, the total cases of the new coronavirus in China have now surpassed 44,000, according to the WHO and Chinese health officials.
