EC issues notice to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for tweeting controversial video

The Election Commission on Friday issued notice to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal over a video tweet posted on February 3. He has been asked to respond by 5 pm on Saturday.

The development comes just a day ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls, scheduled to be held on February 8. The poll body’s action came on the basis of a complaint filed by the BJP.

Polling in all the 70 seats in the national capital will take place tomorrow 8 from 8 am to 6 pm, and the results will be announced on February 11.
