On putting the image through a Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on the Instagram account of US President Donald Trump.
The post uploaded on August 29, 2018, was captioned, ” #USA 🇺🇸⚽️ #FIFAWorldCup.”
The picture was taken at the white house when the FIFA’s Gianni Infantino and Carlos Cordeiro visited the White House to discuss the 2026 World Cup and USSF president Carlos Cordeiro presented US President Donald Trump with a jersey.
In the above real vs fake collage, it is clear that on the original jersey ‘Trump 45’ is written on it.
This proves that the viral image is fake.
