Several flights have been from the Delhi airport due to rain and hail in parts of the city and adjoining areas. The Met department has also forecast thunderstorm with hail on Friday.
“Due to heavy air traffic congestion and bad weather at Delhi airport, there have been diversions in flight departures and arrivals,” IndiGo tweeted. Vistara also announced a list of flights that were being diverted and delayed.

The heavy rain has brought down temperatures to 17 degrees Celsius, even though air quality in the capital remained in the ”severe” category for the second consecutive day.
