US deports 150 Indians over visa violations; land in Delhi via special aircraft

Date:

Close to 150 Indians were deported from the US and landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi on Wednesday morning. As per officials, they have allegedly violated their visa norms or had illegally entered America.

The special aircraft carrying them landed at the T3 terminal of the Delhi airport at 6am IST, the official said. The aircraft reached India via Bangladesh.

All the 150 Indians had to undergo paper work formalities at the terminal with the immigration department before coming out of the arrivals.
These Indians have either violated their visa norms or were illegal immigrants. This isn’t the first time this happened. Earlier in the month of October, more than 300 Indians, including one woman, were deported by Mexican immigration authorities for illegally entering the country to sneak into the US.
