A picture of New York’s Times Square is doing rounds on social media and massive posters of Howdy Modi and pictures of PM Modi and US President Donald Trump can be seen there.

When NewsMobile fact checked the above picture, we found it to be FAKE.
On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture which does not have PM Modi, President Trump or Howdy Modi’s poster being placed at the Times Square.
In the above FAKE vs REAL collage it is clear that real picture was manipulated to make the misleading image.
On digging further we came across a photo effiect website PhotoFunia which makes and one of its effect ‘New York at Night‘ included the same picture and by using this effect, one can display photos of their choice on three billboards at Times Square.
Hence, the above information proves that the viral picture is FAKE.
