Fact Checked: Here’s the truth behind this picture of Prime Minister Modi

A picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has surfaced on the internet in which he can be seen holding frame and the text on the picture read that ‘Jaiswal holds so much power that they can single-handedly destroy Pakistan’.

Text in Hindi read: “जायसवाल इसमें इतनी ताकत है कि यह अकेली ही पूरे पाकिस्तान को तबाह कर सकता है”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found it to be FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on PIB’s official website in which he is holding a frame of gold coins.

As it can be seen the original picture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Nirmala Sitharaman were inaugurating the Gold schemes in New Delhi on November 5th, 2015.
