In a broad daylight incident on Friday, two motorcycle-borne assailants snatched a chain from a woman and ran away.
The incident took place in Delhi’s Chhawla area. The entire incident was recorded in a CCTV camera. In the CCTV footage, the woman can be seen walking on the street with a child.
One of the assailants snatched the woman’s chain and despite the quick retaliation by the woman to chase the assailants, they managed to run away.
Investigation in this incident is underway.

In a similar incident on August 30 in Delhi’s Nangloi, two bike-borne assailants tried to snatch a woman’s chain but caught red-handed by the woman and other people. The chain snatchers were later arrested by the police.
