A fire broke out in rear power car of a train at the New Delhi Railway Station on Friday afternoon.
The fire originated in Chandigarh-Kochuveli Express which was standing at platform number. 8 of New Delhi Railway Station. All passengers have been evacuated safely.

Twelve fire engines were dispatched to deal with the fire. No causalities or injuries have been reported so far. The fire has now been doused.
