KJo picks these three actors if he remakes Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Date:

Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji starrer, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is still Bollywood’s one of the iconic movies from the 90s and at least for a decade now, movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the remake of the blockbuster.

Well, it’s still not known if we will get the remake of the KKHH but, Karan Johar, who made his directorial debut with the film, recently spoke about the actors he would like to cast in the remake.

While speaking at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2019 to celebrate his 20 years in the industry, KJo said: “On my wishlist would be Ranveer Singh as Rahul. He has the mad intensity of Shah Rukh Khan. I would cast Alia Bhatt as Anjali since she has the spunk and Janhvi Kapoor as Tina because she has the poise required for the part.”

A special segment was dedicated to Johar at IFFM and he held a screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai there to celebrate his milestone.

At the event, Karan also recalled narrating the film to Shah Rukh when he didn’t even have a script.

“I remember going to meet him — I had no script whatsoever and had only a scene in my mind. I narrated it to Shah Rukh, telling him that if you like this scene, then I will narrate the entire film to you. That was obviously a lie.”

Well, Ranveer, Alia and Janhvi in the remake of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai will be full of sheer acting talent.
