Bali tragedy for top corporate executive; dies while trying to save his kids

Date:

In a shocking incident, a senior corporate executive, Rajdeep Chatterjee, Marketing Director Fox Networks MENA, passed away while allegedly trying to save his kids from being swept away by waves at a beach in Bali.

His sudden demise has left the fraternity in shock. Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media, from his ex-colleagues, friends and family since the news of the accident came to the forefront.

The unfortunate event unfolded when his children (aged 6 and 15 years) were caught in a sudden high tide on a beach in Bali. While trying to save them, he got caught and taken in by a high tide himself.

Chatterjee had joined Fox Networks MENA in March 2018 as Director – Marketing. Prior to this, he has also worked with Microsoft, McDonalds India and Hindustan Times.
He was based out of Dubai and his wife and children were accompanying him for the vacation. His wife is also a senior corporate executive in a PR firm in Dubai.

On social media, his friends have called him a smiling, positive person and a powerhouse of energy. He was a Grade A swimmer, scuba diver and a fitness freak.

An unfortunate event indeed. A brave father who tried to save his children, managed to do so too but lost his own life in the process.
