On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we came across an article by hindi.nyoooz.com dated August 6, 2017 which had used the viral picture.
The pictures were taken in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur on August 6, 2017 during the ‘Raksha Bandhan’ event, where people from different faiths celebrated the festival to show unity.
The above information proves that the claim is FAKE and the person in the picture hasn’t converted his religion.
