On Wednesday, a Bengali television actress, Swastika Dutta, was allegedly dragged out of her online-booked Uber cab and harassed by the driver in Kolkata.
The actress took to social media to share her experience with her fans. In the statement she has given a detailed record of the incident and posted pictures of the accused.
She was on her way to a shoot when her Uber driver, Jamshed, changed the pre-selected location in the middle of the journey. He canceled the trip and asked her to get out of the car. The actress did manage to escape from the spot where the incident took place and later issued a complain against the driver’s actions.
