Fact Check: This is what she actually wrote on the placard

Date:

A picture of a girl is making rounds on social media in which she can be seen holding a placard.

The placard read: “I am Muslim. I hate Hindu. We are khan mombatti geng. Our target r only Hindu not Muslim”

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found that the picture has been photoshopped.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture in an article by BBC Hindi dated June 27, 2019.

We also found a video on YouTube in which the girl can be seen holding the placard.

The girl in the picture is slamming the alleged Tabrez Ansari mob lynching.

The above picture was manipulated using Photoshop software to pass a completely different message.

This proves that the viral picture is FAKE.
