No! These three sisters haven’t cleared IAS Examination, here’s the fact check

A picture post is being shared extensively on the internet in which three girls can be seen wearing garlands and they have a box of sweets in their hands. The claim attached to the picture is that the sisters together have clear the IAS examination. 

The caption of the picture read: ”तीनो बहने एक साथ बनी IAS
दिनरात खेतों में काम करने वाले विधवा मां की तीनों बेटियां एक साथ बनी IAS,, कमला मौर्य 32 वीं, गीता मौर्य 62 वीं, ममता मौर्य ने 132 वीं रैंक प्राप्त की इन तीनों को बहुत-बहुत हार्दिक बधाई !”

(Translation: ”The three sisters together have cleared the IAS. The widowed mother of the three daughters worked in the field, together they have cleared IAS, Kamla Maurya 32nd, Geeta Maurya 62nd, Mamta Maurya got the 132nd rank, very hearty congratulations to these three!”)

The above post has more than 21 thousand likes and more than five thousand shares.

A similar post with 13 thousand likes and more than eight hundred shares was found online;

FACT CHECK:

When NewsMobile fact-checked the post, we found the claim to be false.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found the picture on various other search engines like Yandex, Google.

We found this picture attached to the article published by youngisthan.in  that dates back to Nov 24, 2017.

The article states that the three sisters are from Rajasthan and have cleared the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Examination.
